Susan Topp
Since 1980 Susan Hlywa Topp has been actively involved in environmental and natural resource law in the state of Michigan. With thirteen years employment as a Conservation Officer with the Michigan Departments of Natural Resources and Environmental Quality, and over thirteen years of private law practice, she has the experience to see an environmental issue from many sides. Susan is a 1978 cum laude graduate of Wayne State University Law School and the principal of Topp Law PLC. She is the Chair- Elect of the Environmental Law Section Council of the State Bar of Michigan and the Program Committee Chair. Susan is a frequent speaker and published author on environmental, natural resource, and oil and gas law issues and she represents clients in both regulatory and litigation matters.

Nick [June 1, 2003 - February 28, 2009]
Nick was the Topp Law office mascot for five years. Nick was rescued after being starved, beaten and abandoned for dead by his prior owner. He was adopted by Susan Topp and nourished back to health while convalescing at the Topp Law offices. Nick developed bone cancer and had his rear leg amputated in 2007. Nick died unexpectedly on February 28, 2009 from an unknown cause. He was cancer free.
"KEENAN" was rescued from the Northern Sled Dog Rescue in Indianapolis, Indiana in March of 2009 and is the new Topp Law mascot.
